James Veltmeyer served Gavin Newsom the first Notice of Intent to Recall on August 5, 2019 which was rejected. James Veltmeyer served Gavin Newsom a second Notice of Intent to Recall on August 26, 2019. The Notice of Intent to recall was verified and the Petition to Recall Gavin Newsom approved on September 27, 2019 .
